We’re a Bay Area native, Latina mother-daughter duo on a mission to transform the events industry.
OUR MULTICULTURAL APPROACH:
TO foster community and collaboration AND FOCUS ON financial reinvestment into the BIPOC business-owned community so we can all achieve financial autonomy and generational wealth.
We are an inclusive company centering unity and solidarity across all cultures and identities.
OUR
VALUES—
01.
NURTURING OUR COMMUNITIES.
Our clients and vendor network both reflect the communities we come from and many have share backgrounds culturally and geographically. We ensure our vendor network are specifically BIPOC small business owners who share generational roots in the Bay Area as well as backgrounds in social justice movement building.
02.
PEOPLE-FIRST APPROACH.
We aim to build a supportive environment for our staff and value everyone’s individuality. Weather it's related to your identity, life circumstances, or even unique ideas, we want to celebrate everyone! We also learn so much through each client experience and value what everyone brings to the table, no matter what.
03.
EQUITABLE PAY.
We believe everyone should receive equitable pay. In an effort to see our communities grow and succeed, we ensure to pay our staff with dignity and living wages in mind regardless of their position or background. We always value our staff’s efforts, time, and work any day over just a formal education.
04.
INTERCONNECTIVITY.
We believe deeply that at the core of our work, we are creating meaningful connections and experiences among people. Whether simply connecting people within our community, to a resource, or even building connection through our approach and ideas—these connections continue beyond in other beautiful ways.
05.
POSITIVITY & OPTIMISM.
Event planning and life in general is hard and stressful. We aim to maintain an optimistic and positive approach to problem solving, welcoming new ideas, and being a good listener to hear out people's frustrations or challenges. We operate through the mindset of "how can I support you."
06.
RELATIONSHIPS OVER TASKS.
Whether is with our clients, staff, or guests, our aim is to be patient, understanding, and be supportive in our communication. We take the time to learn every client's different communication style and adapt accordingly and set ourselves for a successful, long-term relationship.

Founder & Owner
Alejandra Mojica, A.K.A. "Ale," is a homegrown entrepreneur from San Francisco's Mission District, and across the Bay Area with over 15 years experience in event planning, design and production; as well as deep roots in community centered programming and organizing. Since 2017, she has served as Founder and CEO of her company, "Events by Ale," which offers full scale event planning services for nonprofit organizations, companies, weddings, and special occasions. In both her personal and professional life, she is committed to financially reinvesting back into her community by establishing a fully BIPOC owned event vendor network, and is actively working towards financial pathways of self-sustainability and generational wealth. Ale’s love for planning events stems from her passion to bring people together for a beautiful and memorable shared experience. She believes that among the fast paced schedules and responsibilities we experience in our daily lives, a great event allows us a moment to slow down, feel joy, recharge, and reminds us how important our time is together.
